Who am I?

My name is Dennis PLANK.  I was born in Brighton, Sussex, in 1951 which, as it turned out, is where my family had lived for a hundred years. In 1974, a year after leaving university, I joined the Post Office (now BT) as a computer programmer. After nearly 35 years with BT I took voluntary redundancy (or early retirement as I like to look at it).

I am married to Genevieve (nee MASON) who has an interesting ancestry with a Yorkshire father and an Irish mother.  Some of her other family names are CROWTHER, GARSIDE(S), HOLDSWORTH, JAGGER & MARSHALL in Yorkshire and DOCKRELL & HAYES in Ireland.
