My PLANKs

The Middlesex (?) connection (pre 1800)

The information here has been obtained from the IGI.  Once (if?) a connection with my George PLANK has been obtained then a lot more research needs to be done to confirm (or otherwise) what follows.

Isaac PLANK married Margaret BESTMAN on 9th July 1780 at Hackney in the East End.  She was a widow who, according to the IGI, had married John BESTMAN only two years earlier at Stepney.    If the IGI is correct then she was born Margaret DEBRAUDER at Stepney in 1756.

The IGI can take Isaac's ancestry back to the marriage of Stephen PLANK to Elizabeth FAIRFAX at Stepney St Dunstan on 13th May 1705.

This is what I know of Stephen & Elizabeth PLANK's family:

(1722-?)
Mary was baptised at Stepney (St Dunstan) on 22nd April 1722.  She married William HAYWARD at Stepney (Spitalfields Christ Church) on 15th April 1739.

Stephen PLANK married Anne ...., probably around 1724. This is what I know of their family:
